Legacy at Oak Meadows is a luxury wedding venue out in Pierson, Florida & they are one of the best families I have ever met. They have thought of every detail & have the perfect amount of options for any kind of wedding or event you could ever dream of.

I had the privilege of heading out to the venue for their Grand Opening with fellow photographer Chris Gillyard a few months after my son was born. We did a content creating day & had a styled shoot (basically a fake wedding) so that Legacy at Oak Meadows could start their journey into the wedding industry right. Now, almost 2 years later, they are SOARING in the wedding & event industry & I still dream about some of the images I captured that day. They have hosted hundreds of weddings & events since their Grand Opening & there is no slowing down for them. It is truly a magnificent venue & I feel like I have made some good vendor friends in the process. I will post all the vendors from the day at the bottom of this blog post incase something strikes your fancy for YOUR wedding or event.

I just have to say that the food & desserts were out of this world – Andrea with Obviously Desserts made treats & some French Macarons which are TO DIE FOR. I have ordered them for every special event that has happened in my life since I met her. Yes, they were THAT good.

I still dream about the lavender lemonade from The Little Bar Co – it was perfect for Spring & Summer & would be sure to delight your guests.

The bridal suites & grooms loft are perfect & thoroughly thought through when it came to logistics & flow. The grooms loft was up above the reception area but out of site to where it wasn’t a distraction AND there was no risk of the groom seeing the bride before the ceremony. The bridal bungalow was spacious & beautifully decorated; perfect for a bride & her girls.

The ceremony area was private, intimate & beautifully set amongst the mossy oaks. Close your eyes & imagine the warm breeze blowing through the moss & the oaks giving you the perfect amount of shade.
